2. Hosting

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. IONOS processes the data arising from your visit on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the website securely and reliably (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

3. Server log files

When you visit the website, the following data is collected automatically: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, referrer URL, browser type and version, and operating system. This data is used to deliver the site, analyse errors and fend off attacks (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). It is deleted or anonymised after [7] days and is not combined with other data sources.

4. Contact form and email

If you contact us via the form or by email, we process your name, email address, subject and message to answer your enquiry. Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise our legitimate interest in responding (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We delete the data once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention periods apply (e.g. six years for business correspondence under Section 257 German Commercial Code). Data is not passed on to third parties.

Notice below the contact form: “We use your details solely to handle your enquiry. See our [Privacy Policy] for details.”

5. Cookies

This website does not use analytics, marketing or tracking cookies. When you submit the contact form, the TYPO3 content management system may set a strictly necessary session cookie (fe_typo_user), which is deleted when you close your browser. Legal basis is Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

6. Links to social networks

We link to our profiles on LinkedIn and XING. These are plain links, not embedded plugins. No data is transmitted until you click a link; the respective network’s privacy policy then applies.

7. Encryption

This website uses TLS encryption, recognisable by “https://” and the padlock icon in your browser’s address bar.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You may withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3)). Please write to info@maru-consulting.com.

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): Where we process data on the basis of legitimate interests, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.

Right to lodge a complaint: You may complain to a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Rhineland-Palatinate, Hintere Bleiche 34, 55116 Mainz, Germany.

10. Objection to unsolicited advertising

We object to the use of the contact details published in our legal notice for sending unsolicited advertising.
